Passage Of Time – Windows Screensaver that Focuses on the Time
Do you feel like time is passing you by? Well, the Passage Of Time application takes this statement literally. Passage Of Time is a screensaver that displays the time, actually passing you buy. A normal clock would show something like 3:40:01, then 3:40:02, then 3:40:03 and so on. Passage Of Time displays Passage Of Time 3:40:01 as a big image coming towards you; then 3:40:02 as a big image coming towards you, then 3:40:03 as a big image coming towards you.
Come to think of it, Passage Of Time doesn’t display time as it passed you by; it displays time as it hurls itself at you.
From the application’s configuration you can play with the following settings:
- Choose the time format: regular 12h clock, AM/PM clock, or 24 hour clock
- Choose the font (Arial is selected by default)
- Choose the font color
- Choose if you want to exit the screensaver only when the Esc key is pressed
- Enable the option to view the date and time in the lower left hand corner while the screensaver is running.
- Sync computer clock.
- Turn on motion blur.
- Select a music file or playlist file so that Passage Of Time will launch your default music player and play it in the background.

Installation - at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Passage Of Time provides support for Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP, and Vista. During the installation process you are asked if you want to put desktop shortcuts on the screen; this will put a Configuration and a Run shortcut on the screen.
Limitations - the trial version displays a logo overlay.
